                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 1300
                   BLOCK OF HICKORY VALLEY ROAD, BEING ON THE
                   SOUTHEAST LINE OF HICKORY VALLEY ROAD AT
                   INTERSTATE 75, FROM R-2 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO O-1
                   OFFICE ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located in the 1300 block of
                Hickory Valley Road, being on the southeast line of
                Hickory Valley Road at Interstate 75.  An unplatted
                tract, being the property described in deed book
                4133, page 18, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 158F-A-10.
               
               
         from R-2 Residential Zone to O-1 Office Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall be subject to the following conditions:

              	   1.	Access to Hickory Valley Road only;
        
              	   2.	A sight-obscuring fence and landscaping along the
                        north line of the property at the top of the 
slope;
        
              	   3.	All lighting to be directed away from the
                        residential area to the north; and
        
              	   4.	All other easements are retained.
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
